Evariste Maïga is a conceptual artist living and working in London. He works with a broad range of media including video, photography, installation, printed media, drawing and text. Taking inspiration from daily encounters, anecdotes and the peripheral his work explores topics such as inherent potential, visibility, singularity and acting in a broad sense. Simple gestures, performativity and humour tend to influence the aesthetic and the analytic processes that occur in Maïga’s work.

He has exhibited internationally among others at Art Night, London (2017), Off Course Art Fair, Brussels (2015), the 4th Thessaloniki Biennial, Greece (2013), The Cooper Gallery, Scotland (2013), The Institute of Contemporary Art, London (2012), Liverpool Biennial (2012).
